I have just contributed to beloved Joe Budenholzer’s THE HOUND OF HEAVEN project. The funding campaign ends at 23:59 US Pacific time, Wednesday 22 May, so there is not long left. I very much hope this comes to pass. I love Joe, and I love Francis Thompson’s work too.

Recent difficulties in my personal life, including the sad break up between me and my recent partner, have slightly delayed the final elements of work on my forthcoming lyric book. I have been battered and spun by the BaalStorm. Cupid, shoot me with another arrow from your UtterOmega Bow.

I was OverMoon to have the honour of Tony (TS) McPhee playing an hour-long set of Hallucinatory Electric Guitar at the opening of my art exhibition at The Dragon Bar in Hastings.

First Matter, the long delayed debut album by The Bricoleur is now available to pre-order from the Bladud Flies! shop. This release includes a collaboration with Current 93 titled ‘The Labyrinth of Significant Complexities’.

I am more moved than I can say to have received two extraordinary paintings, gifts from one of my favourite artists, the astonishing Megan Diddie. Thank you, Utterly, for these beautiful portraits of my cat Wiggy as well as of of the Feral Fire Incarnation of my cat X-Ray Unseen as “Snakes Hiss, Cats Hiss”.

Belovèd James Blackshaw has released an astonishing and beautiful album, The Watchers, in collaboration with Lubomyr Melnyk. James’ text about it reproduced below:

My dear White Pee friends from SF have released their new album, Trumpets Bring On Gallows, and deliver a churning psychedelic, gloom, panting, desperately trying-to-catch-its-breath in the dense noisy electronic avant garden, broken animal dashing over crocodile rocks, ending at the bottom of the Godless lake. I recommend it Utterly.

I was very touched by all the sweet messages sent to me by people on my birthday. Thank you all so much. It meant a great deal to me and I was very moved by all of your kindness.

An exhibition of my artwork is currently being held at my favourite bar, The Dragon, in my home town of Hastings Old Town, England.

MYRNINEREST are OverMoon to be performing “JHONN,” UTTERED BABYLON, accompanied by Davide Pepe’s film of the album, on Saturday 23 in February Lucerne at the Matthaeus Kirche. MYRINEREST are UtterMoon on Saturday 23 March to skip into Hasselt’s Kunstencentrum.

There has been a slight delay in shipping I AROSE AS ALEPH, THE SPELLER, THE KILLER  from www.davidtibet.com and consequently the associated 12" record and the print. This delay is purely down to the printers, and not to us, and was connected to the black edging of the pages. The issue has now been resolved, and the books arrived on Friday, 15 February.
